Whirinaki Whare Taonga is proud to present our 2024 Theatre and Music Season. This year's line-up features a programme of live, engaging and exciting theatre that will make you laugh, cry and think. With hilarious side-splitting comedies to heartfelt dramas, world-class performances for children, and awe-inspiring live music; this is theatre at it's best. The Home Inside

Underscored by music, puppetry, and striking visual design, The Home Inside is a heartwarming tale for children about self-discovery, and the power of nature to heal.
The Orange Box
Monday 29 September | 1pm
Step outside the box where true magic unfolds, with circus acts, intricate puppet craftsmanship, juggling and enchanting illusions.
Silent Movies Live
Wednesday 1 October | 7.00pm
Pianist David Selfe and percussionist Jeremy Fitzsimons add live musical accompaniment to two silent Charlie Chaplin films.
