Learning Programmes Specialist

Whirinaki Whare Taonga is seeking a Learning Programmes Specialist to join the creative and innovative team at Upper Hutt’s centre of the arts.

The focus of this role is the development and delivery of education programmes and resources for schools which supports formal and informal learning at the Centre and which are linked to the NZ Curriculum. The role also includes public programmes and may also include programmes for pre-schoolers and holiday programmes.

A teaching qualification and/or knowledge of the national curriculum and experience in a classroom, with appropriate planning and delivery for different levels and subjects is desirable.

This position is permanent part-time at 20 hours per week (we are flexible with days and hours) with some (minimal) weekend work required for public programmes.
