NZ Music Hall of Fame Inductee, and member of the NZ order of merit for services to NZ music, Wayne Mason, is a musician that needs no hyperbole to attract an audience. We are honoured to host Wayne as the final performer of our “Late Night Soundbite” Friday night series of 2023. As a true living treasure of NZ music, and Upper Hutt Native, Wayne’s performance is also the fitting finale to NZ Music Month 2023 with us at Whirinaki Whare Taonga. Join us as he plays an intimate solo concert of repertoire from his 60+ year career in music.

Late Nite Sound Bite is a once a week late night on Fridays featuring fresh NZ music, refreshing drinks and gorgeous food at Dough Bakery and all galleries open until 8pm. Live music starts from 6.30pm and entry is by koha.
