Chinese-American pianist Jian Liu, Head of Piano at the New Zealand School of Music and renowned chamber musician, makes his debut solo recital in Classical Expressions. Having performed on stages in China, Japan, Singapore, Portugal, Switzerland and Ukraine and with symphony orchestras around the world, Liu presents a diverse programme including the mighty Bach-Busoni Chaconne and the ever-popular Brahms Variations in a Theme of Paganini.
