Heretaunga Players final production for 2012 continues their tradition of presenting well-written plays that audiences can really enjoy watching come to life on the stage.

Wild Goose Chase by Derek Benfield, is a classic farce and has all the markings of a really funny show, with plenty of running around, perfectly timed entrances and exits, obvious misunderstandings, badly kept secrets, and a suit of armour!

Chester Dreadnought bluffs his way into the crumbling stately home of an aristocratic family, and an even trigger-happy Earl suffering from hallucinations cannot keep at bay the enterprising pair of jewel thieves who are pursuing their loot - not to mention Chester - round the castle. Suits of armour and secret doors, mistaken identities and dotty servants all help to provide the variety of fare that goes to the making of this wild goose chase.
