INTO
THE REM ZONE
where
dance and dreams collide
Dive
into the zone of dreams with four of New Zealand's leading contemporary
dancers in this high-energy dance-drama fusion.
You'll
enter another dimension where things are witty, weird and surreal
as you watch four dreams come alive on stage. Let the performers
take you between worlds, between the states of consciousness one
enters while sleeping and dreaming. Don't miss this theatrical
experience - a show with bite and an original sound track; ideal
for young people aged 8-12 years.
The
first-ever collaboration between Capital E National Theatre for
children and Footnote Dance, Into the REM Zone mixes the skills
and experience of two New Zealand's leading arts organisations to
create this multi-genre theatre exploration.

Expressions Arts & Entertainment Centre and
The Breeze presents
THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE
The
Truth About Love takes the form of a riotous 'introductory seminar',
where four 'sexperts' initiate the audience into the secrets of
love, loss, longing and lust. It's a fast paced, hilarious and often
moving look at love in all guises. The show is a fusion of song,
choreography and comedy, revolving around the theme of love. Spoofing
the prevalent trend of property and personal growth seminars and
the gurus who run them, the show is hosted by 'Sandy Sugars' and
'Candy Cox', two self-made experts who entice the audience to sign
up to their get-love-quick-scheme. Along the way they introduce
various ‘celebrities’ and ‘past success stories’ to endorse their
sensual smorgasbord. Starring Pinky Agnew, Sue Dunlop, Kate
Harcourt & Lorae Parry. Michael Nicholas Williams on piano
and choreography by Jan Bolwell.
All
Tickets: $38 or $30 for groups of 10+
