The
Diary of Anne Frank
There are few who
don’t know of the tragic story of Anne Frank; the self-assured Jewish
girl who hid from the Nazis in an attic in Amsterdam, and recorded
the saga in her famous diary. Timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary
of the end of WWII and the Holocaust, this production draws the
audience into the private lives of eight very different people,
with a careful and sympathetic touch of this inspiring true story.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning script combines with deft attention to
detail to transport you back to a dark chapter in the world’s history.
Tickets
$37 adults, $27 children/senior, $17 groups of 10 or more, $102
family pass (2 adults, 2 children)

The
Magic Chicken
Two
‘underlectual’ chefs prepare for another quiet day at their run-down
bistro when a surprise guest makes herself at home in their colander.
This chook is no ordinary lady, as she lays floating eggs. Also
present in the restaurant is a shady character by the name of Evil
Eric. He has a sinister plan for this clucky customer and sets about
trying to capture her. The chicken manages to ruffle quite a few
feathers during her stay in the kitchen, but our two heroes overcome
their squabbles and band together to save their feathery friend.
‘The Magic Chicken’ mixes up an exciting concoction of mime, slapstick,
magic, puppetry and live music. Target audience: children from 2
to 82.
Tickets
$15 adults, $8 children
