HIBS One Act Play Festival
Students from Hutt International Boys School and Upper Hutt
College will stage two revue sketches by Harold Pinter and two
one act
plays by Marcelle Calitz. The two Calitz plays explore turbulent
teenage years. Set in Upper Hutt, Who Stole Last Night? deals
with a boy racer's nightmare. Set in Port Elizabeth (South Africa)
An Expellable Offence, directed by Gino Moretto, explores peer
pressure and teenage pregnancy. The two plays strikingly contrast
the teenage cultures of New Zealand and South Africa.

Come on kids – express yourself!
Parents bring your children to Expressions any time between 11am
and 2pm so they can have fun creating mini exhibitions of themselves
and telling stories about
their favourite day. Numbers are limited to 25 children. This is a free activity
and the children’s work will be displayed at Expressions the following
week.
