Flying Piglets present Barb Dwyer

The hurdy gurdy is a fascinating mediaeval instrument with a sound that resembles a mix of trumpet, bagpipe and piano accordion. Watch it in action as Barb Dwyer plays original and traditional tunes with energy and verve. Her influences include the music of the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Celia Lashlie and Norm Hewitt will present a community model designed to build a sense of responsibility and empowerment for ordinary New Zealanders. Their aim is to show how we can live in a way which imparts to our children and youth values that will positively affect our city for the future.
