Royal Ball is to be held as the beautiful Princess Kate is about
to choose her husband from the handsomest men in the land. Guest

Acoustic presents The
Chaps
For
more than 14 years The Chaps have entertained audiences with their
unique mixture of music and humour. The music has its roots
in folk and bluegrass, but is flavoured with calypso and swing;
they’ve labelled it “Cowboy Lounge”. Tight, four-part harmonies
(occasionally sung in Maori and Japanese) are supported by skilful
playing on guitar, fiddle mandolin and double bass. Sometimes
they add a banjo, tin whistle or castinets.

in 1996 by pianist Katherine Austin, violinist Dimitri Atanassov
and cellist James Tennant, the Ogen Trio have become established
as one of New Zealand’s leading piano trios. Upper Hutt-born Katherine
Austin is a well-known and popular pianist, and performs throughout
New Zealand as a soloist and chamber musician.
