Dance present Home Is Where The Heart Is
A
collection of fresh New Zealand dance works, Home is Where the
Heart Is, will dance its way around the country from June to
September. It celebrates the passion of a life in New Zealand
dance as the much-loved contemporary company Footnote marks 20 years
of creation and advocacy of New Zealand dance.

Baby
Proms is a fantastic concert especially devised by Jennifer Moss
for children aged from 2-7. Bring your children, grandchildren and
their friends and enjoy a
wonderful family outing. Children and toddlers are encouraged to
jump, bounce, sing and even conduct the orchestra as it plays fun
music like Incy Wincy Spider, I’m a Little Teapot and much
more.
A
final treat is a walk through the orchestra. It’s the perfect way
for a family to spend a Saturday morning.

New
Zealand String Quartet
Acclaimed
for its powerful communication, dramatic energy, and beauty of sound,
the New Zealand String Quartet performs throughout New Zealand and
abroad. After its North American tour in July 2005, it will tour
New Zealand. String quartets by Haydn and Schubert join Gillian
Whitehead’s evocative quintet, Hine-pu-te-hue, for Maori
instruments and string quartet, featuring New Zealand’s foremost
expert on indigenous instruments, Richard Nunns.
