It is truly said that the more things change the more
they stay the same.
Can this be said of Paris?
It is many years since Cartier Bresson captured on
film his memorable ‘decisive moments’,
recording the citizens of Paris going about their business.
Since that time the city has seen many physical changes
but there remains a timelessness about the capital
of France that is surely unique.
It is the people who are the real soul of a city,
and the spirit and culture of Paris is unmistakable
in these candid images by Jack Sprosen, of a modern
Paris featuring the everyday life of the inhabitants.
