exhibition compries of modern photographs taken from original glass
plate negatives by this foremost 19th century photographer.
Journey
with James Bragge as he takes his horse drawn mobile darkroom from
Wellington through the Hutt Valley, Wairarapa and Manawatu.
See shops and churches, streets and bush scenes as they were in
the 1870s.

Brian
Scadden will be demonstrating the photographic process originally
used by James Bragge using his own replica of Bragge's mobile darkroom
on Saturday 24 March at 1pm.

Scadden's photographic images will be featured in the Vector Gallery.
