A right rollicking night of Victorian songs, jokes, entertainers and including the heart-rending story of a young maid who falls in love, is cast out by her father, falls victim to the machinations of the villain, but is saved by her hero and his mischievous friend and lives happily ever after in the melodrama "Hazel Kirke or Adrift From Her Father's Love" based on the original script by Steele MacKaye.

I Do – 100 Years of Wedding Dresses reflects the changes in bridal fashion, tradition and culture through the display of a selection of dresses from throughout the twentieth century. The exhibition includes a number of dresses from members of the Upper Hutt Community.
