A magical comedy set in late nineteenth century New Zealand and based on the rise in fame, and eventual disappearance of Mr and Mrs Alexander, hucksters extraordinaire. It's a play… with magic, mind reading and sideshow stunts woven in taking you on an edge-of-your-seat, breath-taking ride. Mr Alexander bends objects with his mind. Mrs Alexander solved crimes with telepathy. Crowds gasped at their heart-stopping finale. With mindreading, stunts and magic expertly weaved in to the story; this notorious couple in colonial showbiz will delight and enthrall you with both story and spectacle.
