UNDER THE SAME MOON

This is a story of three generations coming together for a family wedding. Hweiling Ow's portrayal of Por Por (the maternal grandmother who travels to New Zealand for her granddaughter's wedding), is instantly funny and recognisable. You can't help but admire her spirit, when she later escapes on a tour bus and gets up to her own adventures. Ow also plays the mother and her three daughters, conveying the difficulties in relationships and differing voices well.

This is a play with warmth, good humour and many thoughtful moments - enough to take you on a real journey in just an hour. It's about unexpected reunions, swapping stories, healing old wounds and moving on.
