Pergolesi's sparkling music sets the scene for two of the eighteenth century's most popular short comedies in this double delicious baroque treat from Boutique Opera.

The first half presents the little-known tale of Livietta and Tracoll. Will our plucky heroine get the revenge she seeks? Can she outmanoeuvre this rascally reprobate and master of disguise? Or has she met her match?

Then in La Serva Padrona, meet Uberto, a bachelor of a certain age who has accumulated a comfortable income, and Serpina his mischievous maidservant. She has a plan. He doesn't stand a chance.

Accompanied by a chamber ensemble led by Jonathan Berkahn. (Performed in English).
