Expressions Arts and Entertainment Centre is costing $5.812 million to build. Upper Hutt City Council is meeting most of this cost, with $1,200,000 for the fitout and future programming being raised through community fundraising efforts. $200,000 has already been raised through grants and donations.

As part of the Friends of Expressions fundraising campaign, you can buy one of our Genesis Theatre seats. The seat you buy will display a name plaque – you decide what your plaque will say.

Seats cost $1,000 for individual donors or $1,125 (incl GST) for business sponsors. Payments can be spread to suit your budget.

All proceeds go towards the cost of fitting out the new Genesis Theatre.
